深广Shēnguǎng

苏峇士是我在班上最要好的同学。

Sūbāshì shì wǒ zài bān shàng zuì yàohǎo de tóngxué.

上个星期六，

Shàng gè xīngqí liù,

他邀请我到他家去吃午餐。

tā yāoqǐng wǒ dào tā jiā qù chī wǔcān.
还记得那天开饭的时候，

Hái jìde nèitiān kāifàn de shíhou,

苏峇士从厨房端出了一个银盘，

sūbāshì cóng chúfáng duān chūle yīgè yínpán,

里面有香喷喷的黄姜饭，

lǐmiàn yǒu xiāngpēnpēn de huángjiāng fàn,

印度饼和各种菜肴。

这些传统的印度食品

Zhèxiē chuántǒng de yìndù shípǐn

都是苏峇士的妈妈特地为我做的。

看着眼前的美味佳肴，

Kàn zhuó yǎnqián dì měiwèi jiāyáo,

我已经忍不住想吃了。

wǒ yǐjīng rěn bù zhù xiǎng chīle.

我赶快洗了手坐到餐桌旁，

Wǒ gǎnkuài xǐle shǒu zuò dào cānzhuō páng,

可是餐桌上没有餐具，

kěshì cānzhuō shàng méiyǒu cānjù,

该怎么吃呢？

gāi zěnme chī ne?

坐在对面的苏峇士开始用手吃了起来，

Zuò zài duìmiàn de sūbāshì kāishǐ

yòng shǒu chīle qǐlái,

我也学着他的样子，

wǒ yě xuézhe tā de yàngzi,

用手指把饭菜捏成一个小团，

yòng shǒuzhǐ bǎ fàncài niē chéng yīgè xiǎo tuán,

送入口中。

sòng rùkǒu zhōng.

苏峇士见了，

Sūbāshì jiànle,

指了指我的手，

zhǐle zhǐ wǒ de shǒu,

笑着说

xiàozhe shuō
志光，我们印度人是用右手抓饭的

Zhì guāng, wǒmen yìn duó rén shì yòng yòushǒu zhuā fàn de
我感到不好意思，马上改用右手。

Wǒ gǎndào bù hǎoyìsi, mǎshàng gǎi yòng yòushǒu.

我和苏峇士一家人边吃边聊。

Wǒ hé sūbāshì yījiā rén biān chī biān liáo.

我这 才知道，他们一家人都是兴都教徒，

Wǒ zhè cái zhīdào, tāmen yījiā rén dōu shì xìng dōu jiàotú,

不吃牛肉，因为对他们来说，

bù chī niúròu, yīnwèi duì tāmen lái shuō,

牛是神圣的动物。

niú shì shénshèng de dòngwù.
那天我吃得好饱，好开心。

Nèitiān wǒ chī de hǎo bǎo, hǎo kāixīn.

我不但品尝了美味的印度餐，

Wǒ bùdàn pǐnchángle měiwèi de yìndù cān,

同时还了解了印族的饮食文化。
